1. Prison Break

I watch many TV shows, but there is no TV show where I experience so much excitement and nervousness! It’s a show everyone should watch once in their life. I enjoyed season 1 & 2 the most, 3 & 4 were a little less exciting in my opinion. They just released a new season in 2017, which is extremely good! I’m hooked.
2. 13 Reasons Why
The series revolves around a high school student named Clay Jensen and his friend Hannah Baker, who committed suicide after suffering many horrible things, through students at her school. Hannah recorded a box of cassette tapes before she committed suicide on thirteen reasons why she ended her life.
I finished watching this show on Netflix in 2 days, because it was so addicting. I think everyone should watch this show, because of the message that it spreads. So many teenagers suffer from bullying everyday and there should be something done about it. The show is portrayed beautifully and really made me emotional. There are some harsh scenes, but there are warnings before the episode starts.
3. Modern Family
Modern Family follows the lives of Jay Pritchett and his family. Pritchett’s family includes his second wife, his son and his stepson, as well as his two adult children and their spouses and children. Jay recently married Gloria. Now Jay is trying hard to keep up with his much younger and hotter Colombian wife, along with her passionate pre-teen son, Manny. Claire is having a hard time raising her own family. Her husband Phil is great, except that he thinks he’s “down” with their three kids, much to all their embarrassment. And, Mitchell and his enthusiastic partner Cameron have just made a major life change by adopting a Vietnamese baby named Lily. -written by ABC.com
Modern Family is a comedic show. It always makes me laugh, especially Gloria (Sofia Vergara). If you enjoy funny shows and want to have a good laugh, this is the perfect show for you. The families chaotic lives and characters with all different personalities makes it impossible not to laugh!
4. Game of Thrones
Set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones has several plot lines and a large ensemble cast. The first story arc follows a dynastic conflict among competing claimants for succession to the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms, with other noble families fighting for independence from the throne. The second covers attempts to reclaim the throne by the exiled last scion of the realm’s deposed ruling dynasty; the third chronicles the threat of the impending winter and the legendary creatures and fierce peoples of the North. – Wikipedia
I’m still on season 3, but I can tell you I love this show! I’m never bored while watching it and it’s extremely exciting. At first I was quite sceptical to watch it, because I’m not a huge fan of medieval shows or anything medieval in general. But I decided to give it a try, because of all the hype I’ve heard about it and I’m not disappointed in any way! Game of Thrones has been criticized for the amount of female nudity, violence, and sexual violence (especially against women), so if you’re sensitive to these kind of subjects, it might not be the right show for you.
5. Stranger Things
Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, the first season focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy by his friends, older brother and traumatized mother and the local police chief, amid supernatural events occurring around the town including the appearance of a psychokinetic girl who helps the missing boy’s friends in their own search. The second season is set a year after the first, and deals with attempts of the characters to return to normal and consequences from that season. -Wikipedia
I kid you not, I watched the whole season in 1 day (yes I have problems). It is so addicting that not a second was I bored. The main actors are kids, which I think is very different and I like it. They are all amazing actors and I can see them having great careers! I also like that it takes place in the 1980’s, the costumes on the show are so cute! I fully recommend this show if you like sci-fi, investigation type of TV shows.
